Has Anyone Developed Severe Oral Issues Using Actonel And Prolia Injections
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been using actonel for osteoporosis for 16 years and than Prolia injections for 4 years and during that time i have lost 20 teeth in total and developed osteocronosis of the jaw. Is this common?

Wow...that doesn't sound good!! I'd like to keep my teeth and I already have chronic pain (had 2 back surgeries in last 20 years)...all these remedies for osteoporosis sound like the side effects are as bad or worse than the condition!! I'm at a loss, but my doctor wants me on something because my numbers are so bad...Tried Prolia and Fosomax.....not good for me !!!! I've resisted trying anything recently but my doctor is getting inpatient....damn if you do and damned if you don't take something!!!

I’ve been on prolia for 3yrs my left a right foot in that time have both had stress fractures in 2nd metatarsal.. an had no end of problems with my teeth ..I’m worried this prolia is causing these problems..
I’ve always kept fit.. ate well sometimes but hard.. not a big calcium person..
I’m 72.. hate being like this
