My Dr told me the same thing that I was on a track downward but when I talked with her of others strengthening of their bones she was very open. I was told of one lady who run up the stairs in her house everyday with aback pack with rocks in it. Her cousin telling me this, said her bones are now so strong. I have no alternative than to take the exercise way and I pray that the Lord will keep me as He has done so far

I have been taking Alendronate weekly for about 8 months. I had a dreadful reaction to the infusion and also the first drug prescribed so doctor put me on this. After about the third day after taking my arthritis really flares up and I get a flu like headache for a out two days. However doctor days bones will deteriorate too much without treatment. So I am reluctantly continuing to take it.

Yes, I'm not a fan of the weight bearing exercise, but sounds much better than the alternatives!!!

I can not take the drugs and have to find other solutions. I have heard of others getting their bones strengthened just by the right exercises. At present that’s what I’m working on. My Dr understands my plight and is supporting me. I have no broken bones at this point and hope it stays that way. I was only diagnosed this year. I will be talking again with my Dr this week.
