I had it on T11 on May 23 of 2022. It was very successful with no complications. I highly recommend if you have a very trustworthy Dr. I am now on Prolia to keep my osteo at bay. I am a severe case with a lot of curvaturešŸ™ but I thank God that I am able to walk and do what I do. Until this Dr no one had ever suggested Kyphoplasty to me before. Iā€™m sure this procedure would have helped me a lot years ago. Do your own research on the procedure and the Dr performing it. As for my experience I would highly recommend . Painless during and after!! I donā€™t know where you live but if your near me in PA I would have THE BEST Dr to direct you to. Hugs and prayers

I just had two my Kyphoplasties at t7 and t11. They relieved my nerve pain but I am still sore when moving. Having PT now. I was told my bones are very soft. I have not taken drugs in many years but it doesn't take much to get a compression fracture so I opted to take Evenity. I have had three treatments and so far haven't had any problems. The infusion center said some people have had a 20% improvement in their bone density. Keeping my fingers crossed and asking for help from above.

Hi Betty5- Thanks for replying..I'm with you on that about Prolia based on horrible side effects while taking and people having fractures coming off Prolia unless they get on another osteo drug immediately
I just don't know. My motto is "never say never" but right now I'm opposed to it.

Do NOT take Prolia!! It gave me extreme fatigue, nausea and shortness of breath.
Look into the supplement route.

Hi there, I have a friend who is 80 years old and has been on prolia a bone building drug with no side effects and several of her friends are on it with no problem. You might want to look into it.
