Has Anyone Replaced Prolia With Reclast?

I am 71 years old and was diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 50. I took Prempro for a year and then it was recalled from the market. Then I took Actonel for about five years, but it stopped working. I did Forteo injections for two years and had decent results. Now I have been on Prolia injections for about 12 years. I took a one year drug holiday and my T scores were significantly worse. Definitely stay with the prolia, in my humble opinion

I have been very satisfied with Prolia results. However you have to have a plan if you ever decide to stop it. I have been on it so long it may be time for me to switch. I’m nervous about starting Reclast

I have a 6 monthly Prolia injection, no side effects.
