Experience With Fosamax?
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hi, my mom (67) was diagnosed with Osteo one year ago but does not want to take any medication. Her doctor recommended Fosamax. What have been your experiences with it? Positive and negative.

Or with Actonel, Boniva, Reclast? Or something else?

I want to try to help her find a treatment to prevent her from having a fracture or further bone loss.

I asked that question. She said they do provide Prolia but only to those have a very serious case.

I have taken Fosamax. I switched Forteo because my mom took Forteo years ago and it really made a big difference in strengthening her bones

I only have experience with Prolia. And I didn't have any side affects. My new Kaiser doctor is now suggesting Reclast or Fosamax. With Fosamax your mom would take a pill once a week. Relcast is a once a year infusion
