I have osteoporosis,and I am happy to say I have not had any broken bones! My bone density test show my 60 year old bones are like that of an 80+ year old women.However I am in pain every day, my knees,hips
,back and hands hurt the most. But my doctors say there is no pain with osteoporosis until you have a fracture or break. And X-rays have not shown much arthritis. How "much" do I need to have for them to explain the pain I have? Have any of you had pain without fracture or arthritis?

I don’t have any pain from Osteoporosis but have a lot from Osteoarthritis. Also have Osteopenia that can be painful at times.
I was diagnosed via a Dexascan by my GYN. She has since retired, and I would prefer someone who is trained in osteoporosis.

Has anyone on here had an early menopause due to a hysterectomy and now suffers osteoporosis or osteopenia?
So I am on alendronate for my osteoporosis. Also taking Magnesium, calcium and vitamin d.
Now the arthritis that has moved in is raising havoc. Two Tylenol arthritis will give me relief- but I know that isn’t good to take too much of.
So- anyone out there have any remedies that won’t cause problems down the road?
I put them on my shopping list…thank you…I too have dry eye disease…

your back will hurt you with Osteroporsis
I do not know I do not think it is as bad as rheumatoid arthritus on the pain side except when you break a bone have a hug to cheer yourself up
thoracic compression fractures causing much discomfort under ribs / top of distended abdomen: constipation also
With lower ribs pressing on top of pelvic bone
Other than stretches / physio exercises anything I can do about it?
Feels that a well fitted back support would help ?
