Can you have a successful surgery on bones while on Prolia??

Due to osteoarthritis also, I've recently (within the last 15 months) had both knees replaced and bones removed from my hand. With the exception of one knee still having problems not attributed to Proliea, everything is fine.

After starting Prolia I had foot surgery. Horrible outcome!!! I’m wondering was that because of Prolia or the surgeon?

I am currently on Prolia. I recently had two shoulder surgeries involving anchors being drilled into the bone. The surgeon said that everything went well. I'm now going to physio to strengthen up.

I hope this information helps you. 💐

What has your surgeon said? How does he feel about the surgery? My surgeon, believe it or not, is not always in favor of it unless you are a candidate for it.
