Can Anyone Tell Me If Aclasta Infusions Really Work?
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

Had an Aclasta Infusion last October and was really unwell for 2-3 days then got terrible back spasms which meant a trip by ambulance to hospital.
Due for my 2nd of 3 infusions in a couple of months and I'm very scared that I will get the same reactions as last time but if my Bone Density has improved in the year, is it better to continue with the infusions?
Has anyone else experienced this?

Before you have the next infusion talk to your Dr because it could be an allergic reaction.

I was also told at Kensington Hospital who first did my infusion that it is better to have the drip set on very slow. I now get mine done at Onerahi Medical. All the best and let me know if I can help in anyway as I live in Whangarei.

I have had the Aclasta infusion 3 times now and worked great. I am due for my Dexa scan for a check this year but my last scan I was fine and did not need the infusion.

I get Zoldronic acid infusions and have absolutely no side effects.
