Can you tell me what your experience with Forteo has been?

Hi, I'm coming to the end of my 2 years of Forteo injections. I've had no issues at all with it and my latest DXA scan placed me in the normal range! So it has made a significant difference to my bone density.
The proof is in the pudding as they say: I'd a bad fall face first helpless onto concrete path at Christmas (dog's lead in the dark...) and had to go to A+E for X-rays on nose (the blood!!) And wrist. No breaks...
I'll be swopping to oral supplements in September: the 2 years have flown (despite lockdowns), which is the max treatment on the injection, and in my opinion it was worth the hassle.
Best of luck 🍀👍

On my 4th month of Forteo. Dry mouth has been my biggest complaint. So far that’s it.

It seems it may have been coincidental that I got sick after my second shot as I have been ill ever since - I plan to try again in a day or two when I feel
Better

Hi took my second shot yesterday eve and felt a little lightheaded. Early hours of morning I was really rough- not sure if it was Forteo or not. I would be interested To learn of your experience. I’m going to skip today and try again tomorrow. I found the actual shot really easy and painless to administer so I pray that it was just a coincidence and next time I will be fine
