Not side effects from Fosamax. I feel it is really helping to slow down and or stop bone loss. Took me a while to decide to go on Fosamax but glad I did

I took alendronate for 5 years with no side effects. It might be worth a try.

I've been on Alendronate (one pill once a week) since April 2021 and have not had any issues with it. I take it as directed first thing in the morning with 8 oz of tap water and don't eat breakfast for an hour afterwards. Nor do I bend over or lay down, as that could cause esophagus irritation. I also skip my morning and noon supplements on those days so there's no interference with the medication. All the best to you!

I was on Alendronic for years also Cali d I stopped taking them about a year ago as they started to affect my tummy but now I have had results of a deca scan that shows osteoporosis in my spine is bad and osteopenia in my hips so they’ve purr me in adcal - d3 caplets not sure about them as I’m on so many other tablets for my cholesterol hormone re the breast cancer I had nasal sprays and antacid meds that can interfere with each other crazy mustn’t eat certain foods within 2 hrs or meds within 4 hours my mind is boggled 😂 so if anyone has been on adcal any info would be great thank you
