Does Anyone Know What Their Bone Density Is Of Their Spine?
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

My doctor says I have severe osteoporosis but I'm wondering how severe? My spine T-score is -2.9.

Brenda, I use Leslie solone dvd's, her constant chattering gets on my nerves, so I mute it, and play music, while I am doing it.

what about doing walking dvd's inside? Been doing that for last 3 mo's not sure it is helping but have been doing 4-6 mi 5 times a week, I don't walk in winter, too icy and cold where I live, scared I will have a fall. That is how I was diagnosed, had a fall on ice and broke shoulder.

My doctor said I should keep walking every day as my problem area is in the lumbar region of my back. My ribs on my right side directly under my breast are soft and they bruise quite easily. That pain is very similar to a broken rib. Breath taking. He also said when I go walking , try to go on elevated areas to strengthen that area.
Here goes ..... Have a great day everyone.

Yours is the lowest I've seen on here. Prior to finding out about my fractures I also did almost everything so I could spend fun time with my granddaughters. We'd ride go-carts, jump at the trampoline park, roller skate, carnivals, etc. I don't feel like I should do that anymore. My heart wants to, but my body isn't cooperating. I already have 5 fractures and I don't want to be totally crippled. I'm glad you are able to keep moving but with a T-score like that, I hope you don't fall! I require a walker now if I walk any distances (but not at home).
