Vit D
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've seen a lot of comments about Vitamin D levels being low, how do we know if it's low? I know I need a blood test to confirm but how did you feel that made you go to the doctor to have it checked, please?
I've been feeling tired and have aches in both my arms and legs arms feel so heavy and tired, I already take Cal D for my Osteoporosis so thought that was enough .
Thank you for your help.

I was low on D3 upped the dosage and overdid it.
I think everyone that takes extra D3 needs to be monitered. It's easy to overload on it, and that has its own risks.

I have been advised to take 5000IU daily calcium plus extra D vitamin.

If you don't get very much sun where you live or aren't outside much, you are probably low on vitamin D. Your vitamin D level can be checked when they do a blood test. You do need to take Vitamin D3 with the calcium for your bones.

Blood test to evaluate vitamin D levels
My specialist recommend
Bariatric Vitamin D3, 5000 is daily.
My level was zero.
Now my levels are normal and I take it 5 days a week.
