I Have Been Getting Gum Infections Does Anyone Else Have This Problem
could this be side effect of being on six monthly prolio injection for 4 years now. As was told by Dr that if you have any dental work if on prolio you are more prone to infection. As I have been getting more gum deseas since being on prolio.
PS please make sure you keep your teeth and gums healthy by brushing and flossing well. I think an electric tooth brush is paramount!
No it is not from my experience. Your gum infections may have been there before.. Please go to your dentist and have you gums and teeth assessed. I now go to my dentist every 3 months for a scale and clean, this is so very important!. The only reason a dentist becomes concerned is if you have to have a tooth extracted when you are on Prolia!
