Well I did try as most of us have but age caught up with me and genetics plays a big part I would take an educated guess and say if u were at the Osteopenia level it would be easier my long time friend of 50 years did it but it took very serious steps and changed her eating habits all together shes never taking anything in years but she took Fosamax in the beginning her thyroid went nuts (as she put it )) good luck don't quit good luck ! PS last great grand name is Zoe love it

I've read that it's possible to control osteoporosis with nutrition and exercise providing that you have the right diet, supplements, and exercises. Have to be careful so that you don't have an injury. I'm exploring this all right now.

My Dr wants me to take fosamax but think I will refuse. I am deathly afraid of side affects from drugs. I know what I am dealing with, and do not want to put my body thru anything else.
Good luck on your health journey.
