Eggs were one that was the worst. That is the only one l still avoid on pill day. There was some cereal, but I don't remember what it was.
Thank you for your help.
Just curious...what food did you avoid?
Welcome altmann! I take the generic version of Actonel once a week. I did get nauseated the first couple months, but so much anymore. I found for me, I wait for about an hour before I eat anything. Make sure you don't lay back down right after you take it. Make sure you drink enough water when you take it. I usually have about 3 or 4 oz before I take my pill and then take it with a cup or so. I have also found that there are some foods that seemed to make me nauseated in the beginning, so I still avoid them the day I take my pill. I have been taking it for almost a year now. I think my dr. will order another dexa scan next Feb. I'm anxious to see if it is helping. I hope that you get passed your nausea soon.
My state is wrong. How do I change it in my profile
