I have been on Prolia injections going on 5 yrs. now and never had any reaction to it. I would suggest you check with your doctor just to ease your mind and find out if there is anything else going on that may have interacted with the Prolia. Our bodies are so different and some of us have certain meds we can not tolerate. I was on Actonel but it caused me to have so much discomfort with acid reflux and a raw throat from the acid I had to go on Nexium to combat this. Nexium or any proton pump meds are not good for us with osteo. It's like a double edge sword, your damned if you and do damned if you don't. Anyway, all the best. Hang in there.

Rene, AlgaeCal is all natural but very expensive. Get the one with Stronium. They work together. I’d like to point out that all of these medications, including Prolia, are dangerous to everyone over 80 and your doctor will probably cease the medication entirely. Actonel is causing Acid Refux for me which means I have to take another med for that. I wish insurance would pay for AlgaeCal.

Pam I can't say I have any pain right after the shot it's as if they didn't give it to me lol But my foot pain was diagnosed as neuropathy and the X-ray on my feet shows a old fracture from long ago with now arthritis so mine I don't think it's the Prolia I very seldom have leg pain I do use Aspercreme lotion(the roll on one and btw its has lidocaine in it use it every night it helps me sleep because I was getting leg cramps I put two and two together and I feel I hurt more when I overdue walking I found that out more since the virus is keeping me in more : who knows huh?
Stay safe :Rest then do alittle here and there :
I'm 82 no no spring chic lol hugs

I’m not going to take any of those medications. I just take 2000IU of D3 I’m also going to see if I can find Alge cal I think that’s what it’s called. I have way too many health issues to deal with all these side effects.
