New Hip Replacement And Muscle Still Hurt After 1 Yr. Why
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

It still hurts, I have osteoporosis now senile. I had osteopenia before because I had 3compression fractures in back first . I took shots for 2yrs..That helped a lot. Then year and a half ago I slipped on curb and fractured hip and had it replaced. Everything went good. But I still have hurt. And I can't lay on hip! I go to Silver Sneakers 3x a week too. Is this normal? I am on Fosamax now.

Fosmax will only bother your GI system if you're not following instructions I was on it for 5 yrs and it worked but before my Doctor convinced me to take it (because I was scared too death of side effects others had warned me) Actually she promised me if I followed instructions I would be fine ,and I was,so to those especially reporting gastric side effects they need to take medication as instructed

I tried fosamax but it bothered my stomach and bowels for a day. Do you take once a week and does it bother you?
