Has Anyone Tried Algaecal?
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does it work? Has anyone ever heard of this....that calcium pills are just ground up rock? Can we digest this? Will this clog my arteries?

I use New Chapter made from marine algae from Iceland, I believe. Never heard of animal bones.

I read on here, a while back, about a lady had reversed her Osteoporosis to Osteopenia with Algaecal. She took it for two years.
It does contain a lot of the things that I take I think. I have never taken Strontium though as I Have read some bad reports of it...

I have found on youtube folks who say they are actual doctors and I google to find out, who recommend supplements and vitamins BUT do not sell them or tell me a specific one to take.

I was prescribed Alondronate & had been on it for about 4 months when I started taking AlgaeCal. My dr. Actually gave me his blessings to stop the Alondronate & continue the AlgaeCal. I haven’t had another dexa scan so won’t know till then if it is working, but I do feel better!
