I was pulled off my calcium because I had enough in my diet. Your doctor can direct you on what is right for you.

Your dr can check the calcium level speak to them and Mandy I take calcium with a multivitamin and magnesium for many years. But since you have had kidney stones before find out why they developed? Take care and God bless Amanda

I was told that you cannot absorb more than 500 mg. Of calcium at one time.

Agree with all of the above posts. This is a question for your doctor to answer after doing blood work. I think that keeping our "levels" level is an important part of managing our osteoporosis. Time for a phone call Sassygal.
