The only thing I can answer is for my lifetime friend she had a lot of problems on Fosamax broke her toe after being on it for awhile Yes research it does help to be in the know but always check it out with your MD : hope you get the RIGHT help : sorry for your pain:
I just went to a Rheumotologist (spelled wrong) about pain for Fibromyalgia. I have pain with the Fibro and the Endocrinologist wanted me to control the fibro pain so I could do Reclast. Long story short-he says Boniva was taken off the market when I ask about Fosamax and Boniva as an alternative. I'm still researching and trying to learn more. I was on Boniva for several years, but I still broke my right femur. It didn’t work for me.
Has One Been Prescribed Forteo? I Have Taken It For 18 Mos & My Bone Density Is Still Osteopenia Range. I Took Fosamax For 11yrs & No Improv
Please Advise If You Have Taken Forteo And/or A New Osteoporosis Drug Called Exenity.
