I started Tai Chi this summer for balance. The exercises look mild but they get the synovial fluid circulating and stretchs the muscles and tendons but no risk of injuring myself. I do feel enough soreness to know I was exercising! Recommend a beginner Tai Chi class to keep motivated and to learn the moves correctly.

I have taken a beginners tai chi, and surprisingly I found it pretty challenging. You def use muscles you are not used to stretching. I also do chair yoga 2-3 times a week. Also swim at the Y.

I am starting to practice Tai chi using YouTube videos. I find a man who guides you through it. Based on other's success, decided to give it a try
