I am on algaecal and they have an amazing Facebook support group with experts that will help you with any challenges you have with taking their supplements. The people who do have issues are given advice on what to do. For some people it is because they are missing a certain vitamin or mineral to process the calcium properly. I am learning so much from the algaecal Facebook community on how our bodies work and what we need to keep our bones healthy.

AlgaeCal Plus itself does not have strontium in it. You have to buy a separate bottle of strontium. So you can take the AlgaeCal Plus without having to take strontium.

Still undecided about algaecal, but very skeptical about Reclast. Have heard so many horror stories! Any comments would be appreciated

Ginger, several people on this site have had good results with AlgaeCal. I just read a post tonight where someone couldn't tolerate it. I also could not tolerate AlgaeCal. My stomach got very upset. I did not have any trouble returning my unopened bottles. We all have to decide what we want to do. I hope you get more answers about AlgaeCal.
