Members shared overwhelmingly positive experiences with CBD oil for managing pain from rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis, with several emphasizing that products with at least 5% CBD concentration work best and that CBD doesn't cause a high when used properly. Many community members described practical approaches including starting with small doses, using full-spectrum CBD rather than isolate, trying different forms like oils, tablets, or edibles, and finding doctors who can help adjust dosing for optimal pain relief without side effects. A recurring theme was frustration over the cost since insurance typically doesn't cover CBD or medical marijuana, but members felt the improvement in pain, sleep, and anxiety made it worth the expense when affordable.

I started taking CBC oil a few months ago. I can tell you there is no way you will get high if that were the case I wouldn't take it. It does help some, I sleep a lot better, and I have suffered from manic depression and anxiety, it has been a miracle for that. It takes a while, some people notice it right away, it took a few days before I started to notice the changes. They were very subtle.

CBD oil is great, it does work, you can buy on line or in many countries a store. It does not get you high, it has very low THC. But works well for pain, sleep and anxiety. I only buy the full spectrum not the isolate.
I might add the medical marijuana is different, it has higher THC , it is great for severe pain cancer, palliative care, etc.. When you take it because of body needing pain relief, it will relax you, but not get you high

Welcome Becki! I use CBD oil in drops under my tongue when pain is bad. It is legal in UK. It is expensive here so only use it occasionally. It takes my pain down from 8-9/10 to 5-6/10.

CBD + THC, 50:50 has better pain relief than CBD alone. I like Haze & Main chocolate bars. I don't like smoke. I can cut the pieces to reduce dosage. Start with small dosage that you can calculate by number of squares to total mg of the CBD and THC mix total on label. Then cut a small square into pieces to get lower dose. Both of my hips/femures broke within a year AFTER taking Alendronate (Fosamax) for about 5 years. That is a side effect only in that area on femur just below the hip. I stopped the Alendronate for now. Considering taking Prolia but I am concerned about side effects.
