Are you getting enough calcium? Ask your doctor about low calcium blood levels. You need to get enough calcium and vit D when taking Prolia. Ask if the numbness is related in some way to low calcium levels.

I’ve been on Prolia since 2015. I have extreme lower extremity pain. Talking to doctor and hoping to find alternative. Maybe natural route.

Hi
Karen, sorry to say, but I think that is a normal reaction. Join the crowd

Had my fourth Prolia shot on July8. Easiest one so far. Not much in the way of fatigue this time. Still believe the Prolia makes my constipation issue worse. But not fracturing and not landing up in a nursing home down the road is worth the aggravation. Taking 500mg of calcium citrate in addition to 2000iu of VitD.
