Reclast
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had reclast infusion last May of 2018 and I've had terrible pain in both elbows and wrists since! Initially I had the achiness post infusion for 48 hours! This is no normal and I refuse to have reclast again!!!

Welcome Kathy! I’ve had two of these infusions, just shivery for the rest of that day after first one. After second one shivery plus a few days later prickly heat rash which I still have in spite of daily antihistamine tablet.

Hi Kathy, You are very wise to stay away from Reclast! I had annual infusions for 3 years. Experienced no side effects until my teeth began to fall out. Now, 6 years after final Reclast, I’m completely toothless & can’t afford implants. Trying to function with a badly fitting upper denture (which robs me of sense of taste) & without bottom teeth can neither bite or chew, so no pleasure in food, let alone eating healthy. As I am an actor, theatre teacher & public speaker., the dental problems have had a devastating impact on my life as I can no longer articulate to a professionally, or socially, acceptable standard.
