A T-score Of -3,3 Is How Bad?

Mine is T -3.9 which in Uk is still within moderate but I don’t think it’s great! What I try to remember is a woman of my age would normally be something like -2.2 so although not good and I don’t want it to get worse, it’s not the end of the world yet. Also different machines can give various readings, it’s not totally accurate apparently so it’s a ball park figure. My hips are -3.1. 13 years ago I obviously didn’t have osteoporosis as a I slammed onto my back from down about eight stone steps onto gravel. I did not break anything so menopause and poor absorption seems the problem now. Take heart, I try to, that so many women have this, don’t know about it so don’t change their diet and life style. You have a chance to slow things right down.

Sorry don’t know that but someone on this site probably will!

Quite bad. Minus 2.5 or higher is Osteoporosis. Minus anything lower than 2.5 is Osteopaenia.

Thank you. I am on something, but I was wondering how the range of the T-score goes from -2,5 to how much?
