Perhaps it’s time to revisit your situation with your specialist? I get 3 opinions from different specialists when it comes to any surgery and before I select the surgeon.

I have a similar situation, my Dr. Explained that if I had the surgery it would be a great risk to my life and they were not going to take the chance of death or paralysis. I have lost 25 % of my height and I also have alot of pain to live with.
You can always get another opinion. I did and it didn't change anything but maybe your situation is different. It is never to late to try the worst-case is the Dr. Says that he can't help you.
So sorry for the pain and suffering your having to live with ,your in my thoughts and prayers.

Judy sorry to hear you are in constant pain, I don't know but would think after five years bones would have started to repair themselves, you need to ask your GP. Hope you get the answers you require xxx

Hi Shell u. Say you get 3 different opinions off Specialists before selecting a Surgeon. Is that done on NHS. Has I not happy with Consultant opininoon and would love to choose Surgeon if I go ahead with Vertebrablasts.. mine told me on 50% improvement on pain but awful risks. Don't know what to do......help ....?
