Apparently the A A stays in your system about a year. I have been on it so long I do 1 year on then 1 year off.

I csme off of a similar Bisophonate took me ages to get something to suit. My problem was severe smell and taste issue. Then I was on denusomab and something else I cant remember the name. I am now on Forteo daily injections. Can only take for 02 years. Then Im not sure what will be available

Hi Carly 12,A A makes me feel ill too,upset stomach,nausea etc and also get generalised aches and pains throughout my body.I too have an interactive thyroid and fibromyalgia as well as arthritis .I have asked about changing my medication but was told there's nothing else .Given the posts on here that doesn't seem to be true.Hope you get to the bottom of what's causing your pain.

hi everyone iv been on AA for 5wks now at 1 a week problem is iv devolped an ache at top leg/groin snaking round to my back so i suppose you would class where it is as hip. my consultant said when i was giving see a doc if i got painful jaw/hip....im 44yrs old on oxygen and hoping for transplantation so any advice would be greatly recieved..x
