I had Prolia injections for over 4 years, no side effects. Reversed my osteoporosis. Now classified as having osteo penia. I am on Reclast infusion for now to avoid rebound effects of having had the prolia. My doctor will be testing me every 6 months until he is happy i am stable, then hopefully stop all drugs?! He said I was the most successful case he had ever treated. I credit it to being closely watched by doc since diagnosed with osteopenia 5 years ago, being very active and fit for an old gal at 67 years old, and for keeping up vitamin D and Calcium supplements. Good luck to you all.

Do you get blood tests before your prolia injection. Your vit d needs to be at normal range to have the injection
