Reclast/ Zoledronic Acid How Long Should One Stay On This Medication?
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was on Prolia for 6 years and was put on Zoledronic acid for 2 infusions. At that time I was told that if I remained fracture free I could go off o\all medication for osteoporosis. Now I am being told- no there must be 3 infusions before that decision can be made. Can anyone give me a clear answer.

Just saw my specialist and now she tells me I need a bone density done next May and then she will determine whether I should receive the 3rd infusion. Still somewhat confused about the whole deal.
