AnnemarieKenneth, I did find an article that cites some solid research on the effects of PEMF on osteoporosis. It looks good! The research websites are separate and listed after the article. Here's the link: https://trulyheal.com/osteoporosis-pemf-therapy...

AnnemarieKenneth, I will be contacting the manufacturer tomorrow to see if they can direct me to concrete research evidence that PEMF improves osteoporosis. I don't see that the research they cite on their website shows that it is proven to improve bone density. I do know that it has been used beneficially in expediting healing fractures however it's not quite the same thing. If I find out anything of benefit I will post it here. I am trying to avoid drugs although I am currently on one.

Thanks . Wouldn’t it be good if we could find something that replaced those nasty drugs.

Kenneth thanks for answering. I'm not sure if the tens works in the same way as PEMF. I'm looking for something that stimulates bone growth and not just for pain. The manufacturer of the PEMF product I'm looking at claims that it does help to stimulate bone growth. I'd like to believe it but I'm skeptical. Does tens help to increase bone density?

AnnemarieKenneth, the PEMF manufacturer sent me a link to this article: https://www.drpawluk.com/blog/osteoporosis-and-...
I'm not sure how valid his conclusion is. It looks like the author is a medical doctor who has used PEMF for quite some time with good results. It's an encouraging read anyhow. I'm planning on paying a visit to a manufacturer to look at a unit in August or September.
