I have a telephone consultation with a GP on Monday.
I am worried that I may have moved to osteoporosis and will mention this on Monday.
What medication should I be taking?
I have been taking 4000 iu Vit D3 and Vit K. for 10 years.
My MS makes me stumble and I have begun having full blown falls.
Any advice on what to mention to my GP would be great.
Thanks in advance

Many women get a blood test every year to see where they are health wise.
My doctor also writes me up for a vitamin D and Calcium check.
When you get your results, look at YOUR scores, then look at the "normal" range, and it gives you an idea of what you need more or less of.
When we don't have enough calcium in our blood, our body leeches calcium from our bones.
I had digestive problems with most of the osteoporosis medication and decided to take Reclast Infusions once a year for 4 years. Still have osteoporosis but it has remained stable. I do take supplements but try to get most from my diet. Nutritional/diet apps helps monitor my diet.
Thank you so much.
I have always asked about my Vit D3 and B12 levels as these are commonly known to be low in people with MS. So I will ask about my calcium too. I Do have regular bloods done as my lymphocyte levels need checking for my MS medication as it can be fatal if they get too high or too low. It's a scary business being human!
