Have You Gone On Another Medication After Stopping Prolia?
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've had 3 shots of Prolia and want to come off of it. Have read it is,very important to go on another drug so you don't lose bone so fast you are,at greater risk of a fracture. Not happy that neither of my 2 doctors ever mentioned this to me. Probably was someone on this site that alerted me to the risk. Thank you!

The usual stay on Prolia is 3-5 years and then switch. So far I haven’t had problems and have seen improvement, been on it almost 2 years now.

Jean Smith, it's important to do balance exercises to help prevent falls.Google them or see a physiotherapist. I've been on Prolia for over 5 years too. Apparently they are saying it's ok to be on for 10 years now..

I have been on prolia more than five years and my bone scan has been better. I have fallen twice this spring and didn’t break a bone but my balance is now gone.
