I know diet helps. I've always eaten healthy. Lolw salt and red meat protein. I take 3000 mg. Vitamin D3. 1000 mg calcium. What else can I do?
Oh yes I eat Greek yogurt every day too!
Thanks Helen,
I eat Greek yogurt and love kefir for years, my granddaughters too! Started them on it as babes. I've taken K2...ok by my Nephrologist. B complex good for alit. I know boron is in pineapples too....but since Prolia 3 yrs ago seem to have developed bad arthritis in my hands the worst. Ankles some...I'm 64 in July but some days feel 84. Other days ok๐๐...my kidney is wonderful....hubby gave me a good one. Blood numbers always good Creatine and function. I heard beer helps with bone but not a fan since my 20's๐โฅ๏ธ
I eat Greek yogurt on my porridge every morning. If I am hungry I can not fall asleep at night. I often eat another bowlful at bedtime.
Sherry there are other vitamins and minerals that might help - but youโd have to check with your doctor as youโve had a kidney transplant.
Vitamin K2, Vit B complex, magnesium, Boron, marine collagen, omega rich cod liver oil capsules.
I also drink Kefir and alternate days either have five prunes or 1 teaspoon of black strap molasses.
