Has Anyone Had Problems With Having Calcium Leaks In Your Shoulder Joints After Taking Calcium Supplements?

I have had this problem twice. My Orthopedic and my Arthritis Doctor has taken me off calcium supplements all together. They now have me on Vitamin D3 instead.

I have bloodwork done every 6 months. I also have Ulcerative colitis. I have never been diagnosed with thyroid disease. I have had my gallbladder removed a few years back. I was just recently told I have cervical Spondylitis. I inherited Osteoarthritis from my mother. I try to stay positive because I do get really bad days. My granddaughters and daughter are my motivators. My husband is my support system as well. He’ll pick up my slack on my bad days when he is not working.

Morning Frances. Tell us more about your condition please. Have you got an over active thyroid? Does your parathyroid glands release to much hormones that releases to much calcium to your bones? Do you feel tired and sometimes your muscles weak? Do you experience any confusion?
VitD will control the calcium levels in your blood stream , which will control the calcium going to the bones. Which is a good thing because too much calcium can cause havoc in your kidneys and causes weakening of the bones.
I have my blood test often to know my levels of calcium in my blood stream.
Wish you a wonderful day πŸ™‹
