Can osteoporosis cause weakness in the legs and hips? It never used to bother me, I don't have any pain but my legs have gotten weak & it's harder to walk. I do go to exercise class but it hasn't made any difference. This just seemed to happen about 2 weeks ago. i haven't seen a doctor yet.
i get this and hard to walk upstairs especially if ive been on my feet for a long time or ive been sat in the same position for a long time so i cant win. I get pain just from lying in bed asleep which ever side ive been lying on gets very painful.
I relate to your experience which you are describing in legs after sitting and also lying down I get hip pains which wake me from sleep several times during the night. I have had one injection of prolia and don't like how I'm feeling since then. I'm not sure i will have another after reading the side effects. Have you used Prolia?
Hi, I just joined and I saw where Janice Stronge mentioned Osteomalacia. This is so totally me. Why has no doctor said this before?
Yes, I've had three shots in the last year and a half. My bone density scan showed a slight improvement. I didn't have any side effects and I'm due for another in Jan. I'll keep on getting them so far.
Thanks
