Their are other factors that doctors look at like your protein etc I went to kidney specialist he said my kidneys function is normal but they factor in the other blood tests they run on you. I don’t go anymore but keep my doctor keeps a good watch on my tests if it changes I will go back. Yes being our own advocate is important.

When I was reading the reviews, I noticed there were quite a few others who had a reading of 60. I thought if it was that bad, why haven’t Dr’s picked up on this? Another reason to be our own advocate.

Thx, and good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Don’t know much about bladder urgency but for UTI not eating chocolate spicy foods does help. You can take prelief over the counter med it helps with acidic foods. I know if I eat those foods I do have urgency to go to the bathroom. You can tell what you eat does effect it.

I do get UTI easy so the mineral water has carbonated water and that is not good for your bladder it’s an irritation.

Re: kidney problem and osteo -
Of course, I do not know the nature of your problem, but I will share useful info I recently found out. Maybe you will find it useful.

I have been taking AlgaeCal products for about a year. On their site, there is always someone to answer medical questions esp the: osteo.

Recently someone asked about their blood work citing their eGFR result a low 60; a normal reading is between 60 and 90. This can indicate 3 stage kidney disease. Oddly, mine is also 60. Dr. Lara said it is reversible, suggested drinking mineral water (which I started doing) and good diet. Then I found a supplement called Kidney Cleanse by Sunergetic. I read the 500 reviews on Amazon, and MANY reviewers said it raised their eGFR level by 10, 20 or more points. I bought it from the Sunergetic site for $18.90. I have been taking it for a few days, and along with the mineral water, am hopeful.

Much good luck.
Sandy
