I had chills that were unreal, some vomiting, felt very weak like I would easily black out, fatigue overall I was MISERABLE and scared for 24 hours. I felt somewhat disoriented. I am really hesitant to try again. Others?
Hi, my mom (67) was diagnosed with Osteo one year ago but does not want to take any medication. Her doctor recommended Fosamax. What have been your experiences with it? Positive and negative.
Or with Actonel, Boniva, Reclast? Or something else?
I want to try to help her find a treatment to prevent her from having a fracture or further bone loss.
I react to prolia the same way
Per my PCP's advise I took Actonel for my severe osteoporosis. After 10 mos. I stopped taking it because of the horrible side effects (fever, nausea, digestive issues, hair loss). He is now pushing me to take Prolia and I really want to try a natural route (without side effects) for a year until my next bone density test. Thinking of AlgaeCal Plus/Strontium Boost. Any opinions?
Still on Prolia after 9 years. Dexa due October, will report results.
No side effects and last Dexa 2020 was positive.

Rene, that’s a really good start. We feel so much
better when we are part of the solution 😊
any results with bone density?
Not sure, seemed to but I got bone spurs on my knees so stopped taking. The spurs were not fun, not much room in the boney knee area. LOL
Like many, I tried everything to improve or stabilize my bone density but finally had to accept the fact that I needed to take some medication.
My Rheumatologist suggested I would go on Prolia every 6mo. After Reading The warnings for this medication.
I am really not convinced to be on this medication. I am 70 years old and have had osteoporosis for many years
Hi Maureen would like to know how it goes
I pray that it will be a good report.Have a good day
🥰
I have osteoporosis. I've had rib fractures and I'm on prednisone. I've read about the side effects of Reclast and honestly it scares me. If the positives don't way out the negatives I'm incline to try something else.
