With a spinal fracture the shape of your back changes, scoliosis , kyphosis etc and my physiotherapist told me it’s these muscles which cause the pain.

From everything I've read and experienced, osteoporosis itself does not cause pain. The cracks, fractures, and breaks do though. These may be caused by osteoporosis, but the pain itself is not.

Kind of like how they used to say "it's not the fall that'll kill you, it's the sudden stop".

Thats so true Helen about exercising. & also stretching helps .We have to keep our bodies moving.I find it hard sometimes cause I'm so tired.

If I didn’t exercise I would be much worse off! Would not only have pain but be very stiff as well!
