Weakness
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had functional limb weakness about about 5 years ago. I've got better as can walk without crutches. But my right side is lower than my left. Cannot manage stairs and walk with a limp. Any ideas what it may be please. Am thinking osteoporosis.

Ask your PCP to order a DEXA scan!

A DEXA scan is a simple, painless, non-invasive type of dual x-ray that measures your bone density. This will determine if your bones are healthy or if you have osteopenia or osteoporosis. Ask your PCP to order one for you!

You should have had a DEXA scan Sue, can't believe you haven't. You should have one now and check out the limp etc. Take care and stay safe. Sending hugs.
That wasn't nice Angela having two broken hips.
I had both mine replaced because of the osteoarthritis. They are now marvellous. But can't use them to the full capacity as I have Bronchiectasis, but at least they are stable. Stay safe and cosy Angela. Sending hugs xx
