Chronic Kidney Disease And Reclast
A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have chronic kidney disease. My last labs were done a couple of months ago. My eGFR can range from 25 to 40. My last eGFR from a couple of months ago was 40. When I went for my infusion yesterday, I expected them to draw current renal functions due to my chronic kidney disease but they just went off my numbers from a couple of months ago. My question is: do you receive new labs at the time of Relcast infusions?? i did not feel comfortable about this.

Definitely has for a redraw of your renal function.

I encourage you to advocate for yourself, and ask for new labs since the use of old information bothered you. Politely insisting is ok.
